To be eligible for the award of Master of Social Work (MSocWk/)/Master of Mental Health Practice (MMentHPrac), you must successfully complete 220 credit points, made up of:

  • 220 credit points for the core module.

This degree may be awarded with Distinction where a student achieves a minimum program GPA of 6.5 with no failed courses. The words "This award was achieved with Distinction" will be recorded on the testamur.

Exit points

To be eligible to exit the Master of Social Work/ Master of Mental Health Practice, a student must meet the requirements of the Graduate Certificate in Social Care (3397), Graduate Diploma of Social Care (4208) or Graduate Diploma of Mental Health Practice (4171).

To exit with the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma, a student should apply for a program transfer.
