Note: Applicants seeking admission into the Diploma of Languages for Trimester 2 must be able to provide evidence that they have sufficient proficiency in their chosen language to commence mid-year. Applications for Trimester 2 entry require approval from the Program Director who will assess that a student's proficiency is suitable for mid-year admission to this program.
International students are only able to undertake the Diploma of Languages in conjunction with a CRICOS registered degree program providing they maintain full-time enrolment in their primary degree of study and continue to progress academically.
English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to these programs are described below.

An international student is a person who is not Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen, a Pacific Engagement visa holder or the holder of a permanent resident/humanitarian visa.
This program is available to International students for study in Australia at Griffith University.

International students who successfully complete the Direct Entry Program (DEP) will satisfy the English Language requirements for this Griffith degree.
The Direct Entry Program (DEP) is not available for Domestic students.
