To be eligible for the award of Doctor of Philosophy in Organisational Psychology (PhDOrgPsych), a student must acquire 340 credit points as prescribed below:

  • gain 80 credit points for the coursework component;
  • gain 40 credit points for the practicum component;
  • gain 220 credit points for the research component.

Progress review requirements

Completion of progress reporting requirements is a condition of continued candidature for higher degree research programs. The following progress review requirements must be completed for the Doctor of Philosophy in Organisational Psychology program:

  • completion of the Early Candidature Milestone within 6 months (equivalent full-time) of commencement
  • completion of the Confirmation of Candidature Milestone within 1 year (equivalent full-time) of commencement
  • completion of the Thesis and Candidature Review Milestone within 3.5 years (equivalent full-time) of commencement
  • completion of a progress report in years where a milestone is not completed.
